It has been brought to the attention of the hospital Management that some scammers have been contacting people by impersonating the Chief Medical Director, Prof. A.D. Yussuf on facebook and LinkedIn accounts and asking them to make payments for employments and requests to supply equipment / ICT materials.
Members of the public must be aware of these development; the hospital and its Chief Medical Director hereby dissociate themselves from these activities and have no relationship with any of these fraudulent individuals or persons.
Therefore, whosoever relates or transacts any business with them does so at his/her own risk.
For the purpose of clarity, members of the public, in particular job seekers and esteemed contractors should note that the hospital Management abide by all laid down rules guiding employment into public offices and operates a transparent bidding process that is open to every qualified contractors as embedded in the Public Procurement Act, 2007 as amended.
Therefore, members of the public are urged to ignore the advances of these fraudulent individuals/ groups as the Management and its staff will not request any individual or contractor to make any payment before they can be given employments or contracts.
Consequently, the hospital is already in contact with the law enforcement agencies and anti graft bodies with a view to unraveling these cyber kingpins and bringing them to book.
The general public is therefore advised to visit the hospital's website to get proper and accurate information when necessary.
